Power to Hope
A volunteer-led team encouraging healthy, active living, raising money for cancer patients and their families across Newfoundland and Labrador.

raised to date, with every dollar donated to the Cancer Care Foundation's Patient and Family Support Fund.
How it started
In the spring of 2013, PCI members registered for the Bluenose Marathon races in Halifax. One of them joined Team to Train, a group of Bluenose runners who fundraise for cancer non-profits, to honour a close friend battling cancer.
Inspired by that run, the PCI team launched Power to Hope, a non-profit dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families across the province.
Hope is powerful. When you believe that good things will come, hope inspires. It is an unwavering belief that brings light and life to those around you.
